Prices Stationers have some bright yellow posters in the windows.
They say BUY LOCAL or bye bye local 🙁
Prices is the place to go to for art supplies and boards and canvasses.
They also have a wide selection of stationary and notebooks and pens. They can also do photocopies in black and white or colour.

I love Prices. Go there whenever we need supplies.
I visited a-n-other highstreet today though, that was busy and thriving…they all have one thing in common and certainly part of the reason for their success.
Always friendly and knowledgeable service at Prices.
Happy 2020 one and all!
Yes we have to keep these shops. Beales closed on Fairacres where we could buy household linens and Boswells in Oxford are closing. I use this shop a lot for cookware.
I don’t understand Daniel’s last sentence so I am not sure whether I agree with him or not, but my view is that while my first choice will always be to try an independent, I am not against the chains as such – after all they provide jobs for local people and bring people in to the town who will hopefully also support others. Anything is better than buying from the online slave-drivers!
I have used Prices for years, when I was self employed and still now. The staff are so friendly and helpful – and it’s good to discuss the cricket!
Love Prices. So good to get art supplies on the doorstep – at good prices too.
Hester, nothing untoward or particularly cryptic…just that whenever I have visited anywhere with a thriving highstreet culture and independent shops; they have always had one thing in common.
Art supplies are excellent. My daughter wanted to get stuff at Hobbycraft but I said Prices would be better.
Prices is the pride of Abingdon – good quality stuff at reasonable “prices” and always a friendly welcome from the owners and staff.
Anil, Mrs Anil and staff always helpful and provide good service.
