This morning there was a light frost in Abingdon-on-Thames.
There are two swans near the slipway at St Helen’s Wharf.
There are far more geese than swans. Some can be seen flying and landing in formation in this picture taken from the Margaret Brown Gardens.
The low bright sun was dazzling (picture on Abingdon Bridge).
There is still some flood water, but the River Thames floodplain in Abingdon is not as flooded as a few days ago.
Today the recyling lorries collected some of the Christmas waste.
The roads were quiet early this morning. A lot of people have not gone back to work yet. Many firms encourage an extended Christmas break.
Gorgeous photos to end the year with, thank you.
excellent pics as ever…does anyone know how the MG rally went on Boxing Day? The rain kept us away sadly.
Hi Martin, I was in Cumbria over Christmas so missed the MG Rally for the first time in years
Super photos (maybe not the last one though!)
Happy 2020!
