I went out in my canoe a couple of years or so ago with a friend Dave and we went to the new canal cut at Jubilee Junction. It wasn’t quite finished then but we could see it was quite a big project.
Good to see the natural habitat around the cut, it really is quite beautiful along the Thames at this point. Dave was very interested in the wildlife and could identify birds and recognise their sounds. Hope to do that again one day.
Lovely fields of flowers. Let’s see more like this and fewer lorries stuck in doorways ( yesterdays blog).
