FULR and FULP

FULR FULP and DROP
About a week ago markings appeared up the paths of East and West St Helen Street. This zig-a-zag dragons back has the letters FULR beneath.
FULR FULP and DROP
Near the Salvation Army there are DROP and FULP (or possibly PULP) and a few scattered Xs and incomplete arrows.

I keep my ear to the ground normally, but on this one I have heard nothing. Has anybody heard what it all means?

Well maybe its one way of residents pointing out to the council the poor state of repair of the pavement in West St Helens.
    or
It’s the end of the financial year and we have some money over so lets repave the street.
    or
the Council just getting our hopes up.
(After all May will soon be here!)

Though have you noticed, some of the markings are wearing away already.
    Oh DROP – Dropped Kerb
FULR – Full Replacement of this section

Think I’ll get a can of white spray paint and markup the broken flags over in the high street.

I thought Oxfordshire county council were responsible for roads and pavements – and they aren’t up for re-election this May?

No, May is parish and district elections. So, here that means Abingdon town council and Vale of White Horse district council.

I know – I was just responding to BykerRode’s comment.
Whatever happens in May it is not going to affect state of the pavements
