i think everyone agrees with the intentions of xr, however their tactics are unlawfull and destructive and are turning many people against them. would be interestingd to know how they all got to london as presumably they didnt use cars, buses, coaches, trains or planes, just sayin

Actually I don’t agree with XR’s intensions. Their agenda has nothing to do with Climate Change – it is all about Political & Societal change. The constant mantra of “listen to the science” is just a prop for wealth distribution – it is they that should “tell the truth” and be honest about their real intensions, but realise the public would not support their hard socialist vision. Better to paint a picture of gloom and doom, blame, guilt and anger. Clearly we need to be much better at looking after this (probably unique) beautiful planet, but demonising a life giving gas (CO2) and those industries that have enabled humankind to prosper is not a positive way forward. There is no climate emergency – Climate change is a natural process – are humans contributing to any change? Still not proven (in spite of the very dubious 97% consensus claim) and in fact probably unlikely in any significant amount. Of course we need to champion cleaner energy sources, but in the meantime we do not need to regress to medieval life styles. Rant over!!
