Trevor sent me this picture of an object in a field and says “Saw this today. It’s in the field behind the Morland Gardens development. Can’t be can it??”
The Morland Gardens development now shows as ‘Sold Out!’ on The Taylor Wimpey website. Work was nearing completion last time I visited.
Looks like part of some surveying equipment, the land is probably being sized up for development.

Rudi – You could be right, i’d put money on there being a crop circle in the shape of a housing estate popping up there soon.
Good. Abingdon needs more houses so that the overall price of houses in the area comes down (it’s far too expensive in the area for the services within the towns area, and rental prices are already starting to reflect that, with Abingdon PCM prices down £125 against the prices 3 years ago). That means that finally, prices might actually be reflective of what you get…. near constant traffic, a growing population of homeless people, a great (hahahaha) town council, an elected MP who has spent more time on her Twitter account than in Abingdon in the last 2 years. Oh, and terrible potholes in most of the roads
