Terry Wogan will be at The Bookstore, Bury Street, on Saturday 22nd November, signing copies of his latest book called ‘Little Book of Common Sense: Or Pause for Thought with Wogan.’
Ian, from The Bookstore, was busy creating a Christmas window display most of today.
With the lights, purple sheets, snow, and reindeer, he has created something to wonder at.
Love those reindeer (and the polar bears they have on alternate years). When my daughter was tiny, we used to go into town just to look at the sleeping baby ones ‘breathing’ – and ended up buying books too most times.
Well done the Bookstaore. I appreciate the efforts made to brighten up and create some interest in the otherwise unappealing precinct.
Having said that, I refer to the nature and design of this area not to the traders there who, by and large, make every effort. Nice to see the newly refurbished Clarks Footware shop, and Valentina’s Shoebox is also a very welcome addition.
