Glenn asks whether I know of a Charity or Association/School that could use a very large pumpkin for a Halloween event. He intended to grow several small ones but a single one took over. It’s 75cm diameter and 2.6m circumference. He has no idea of the weight but he can’t move it on his own.
He will be able to get assistance to load it into his trailer and deliver it providing there is assistance available to unload it. He can also take it away if required.

Completely off topic for which I apologise for but my wife’s face book page ( I don’t have one) has been saturated with nonsense from Thames Valley Police saying what a wonderful time they’re having providing security at somebody’s wedding in WIndsor and how they’re paying particular attention in enforcing a no fly exclusion zone aimed at preventing the paparazzi from using drones to take pics for the likes of Hello magazine!
Ugh hello TVP how about putting some bobbies on the beat in Abingdon instead of having a jolly protecting the rich and famous who can well afford their own security!

Does the pumpkin convert into a carriage (or stretch limo) for evening events until midnight? Could give a whole new approach to green motoring.
Horsesmouth, I simply must, must, MUST take issue with you over this. I am all for embellishments in order to add weight or gravitas to a story, but simply saying things that can not be backed up is totally unacceptable; I watched almost 10 minutes of the wedding coverage and at no point did I see anyone ‘famous’.
