Rev&#8217;d Richard Bittleston, from Trinity, gave the message, which was &#8220;Enjoy the Fair!&#8221;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag13\/131007002.jpg\" alt=\"Abingdon Michaelmas Fair\" \/><br \/>\nLots of people have taken that sentiment to heart whether they heard him or not.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag13\/131007004.jpg\" alt=\"Abingdon Michaelmas Fair\" \/><br \/>\nThe Mayor said at the start of the service &#8220;It is probably Abingdon&#8217;s biggest event.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The logistics is organised by Fair people who do this sort of thing all year round, although not always in quite such a tight space.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag13\/131007005.jpg\" alt=\"Abingdon Michaelmas Fair\" \/><br \/>\nSome of the rides have just come from Nottingham Goose Fair which only ended yesterday, so their spaces need to be kept ready.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag13\/131007008.jpg\" alt=\"Abingdon Michaelmas Fair\" \/><br \/>\nAbingdon Town Council are the main local organisers.
