{"id":7522,"date":"2012-10-13T14:32:05","date_gmt":"2012-10-13T13:32:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/?p=7522"},"modified":"2012-10-13T14:32:05","modified_gmt":"2012-10-13T13:32:05","slug":"apple-day-at-south-abingdon-childrens-centre-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/?p=7522","title":{"rendered":"Apple Day at South Abingdon Children&#8217;s Centre"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today was Apple Day, run by the Carbon Cutters, at South Abingdon&#8217;s Children&#8217;s Centre, next to Cadecott School.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag12\/12101311.jpg\" alt=\"Apple Day at South Abingdon Children's Centre\" \/><br \/>\nIn attendance was the Wild Waste Bus with lots of information on recycling and energy conservation.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag12\/12101306.jpg\" alt=\"Apple Day at South Abingdon Children's Centre\" \/><br \/>\nThere was a chance to try your hand at archery, and if you are interested in taking up this sport email chris_lynn.wilson at virgin.net who is running classes (Tuesday morning at Wootton Community Centre, Thursday morning at Radley Village Hall).<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag12\/12101304.jpg\" alt=\"Apple Day at South Abingdon Children's Centre\" \/><br \/>\nThere were the first chance, for me at least, to see the plans for the proposed &#8220;Forest School&#8221; area which carbon cutters are helping to design and implement in the area of school grounds surrounded by fences. The next stage is to dig out the rather rocky ground to plant a hedge.
