Girders that once supported the canopy have been sawn off near the buildings.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag12\/12070602.jpg\" alt=\"Abbey Shopping Centre\" \/><br \/>\nOver the last week pile driving machines have been making ready for new girders where the new larger stores will be.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag12\/12070601.jpg\" alt=\"Abbey Shopping Centre\" \/><br \/>\nUnderfoot it is looking very muddy. Businesses all open as usual.<\/p>\n<p>Lets hope it is dry for the olympic torch coming through on Tuesday. I would be very glad to receive any pictures of the torch coming through Abingdon.
