The start point is outside Patisserie Pascal, and coincides with a few days of well deserved holiday for Pascal (<em><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"short_text\" lang=\"fr\"><span class=\"hps\">vacances bien m\u00e9rit\u00e9es<\/span><\/span><\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>It looks as if most of the existing paving stones are being relaid &#8211; which must be a good thing.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag12\/12011102.jpg\" alt=\"OIld Pavements\" \/><br \/>\nThe irregular paving stones lower down the street will only fit back one way &#8211; if they do need doing.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag12\/12011103.jpg\" alt=\"OIld Pavements\" \/><br \/>\nOver time the pavement has gained a certain foot worn character that goes well with the historic street.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 11 week project to repave East and West St Helen Streets has begun.
