That is church-speak for planning permission.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag11\/11112607.jpg\" alt=\"St Helens Festive Bell Ring\" \/><br \/>\nThe great bells were silent &#8211; Whites of Appleton installed them about five years ago and they look and &#8211; when played &#8211; sound splendid.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag11\/11112602.jpg\" alt=\"St Helens Festive Bell Ring\" \/><br \/>\nAnd right above all that the view from the top of the bell tower shows the new development at the Old Gaol.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag11\/11112609.jpg\" alt=\"St Helens Festive Bell Ring\" \/><br \/>\n&#8230; and the County Hall with scaffolding removed and with flag flying.
