They even had a closing down sale with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/2007\/11\/still-life-in-stitches.html\">large posters<\/a>, that is, until they found there was another year to run on the lease. The notice now says &#8216;<span style=\"font-style: italic;\">This shop is closing on January 2nd &#8211; <\/span><span>2009<\/span><span style=\"font-style: italic;\"> &#8211; Your nearest Halfords is at Didcot \/ Oxford<\/span>&#8216;.<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/images\/08121104.jpg\" \/><br \/>It now looks as if Woolworths could close, even, before Halfords.
