Not posted.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag11\/abingdonpostcard4.jpg\" alt=\"abingdonpostcard\" \/><br \/>\nMessage dated 1919.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag11\/abingdonpostcard3.jpg\" alt=\"abingdonpostcard\" \/><br \/>\nPostmarked Wantage 1910.<\/p>\n<p>The scenes on these postcards are still very easy to recognise after over 100 years.\u00a0 But go a little further out from the centre of Abingdon&#8230; and houses have replaced fields &#8230;\u00a0 and older dwellings like\u00a0 those at Northcourt have been surrounded by, and become part of, the greater town of Abingdon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I used to regularly buy postcards from ebay, and kept a watch out for Abingdon postcards.
