{"id":430,"date":"2009-03-05T00:17:00","date_gmt":"2009-03-05T00:17:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abingdon.blog\/abingdon2007\/2009\/03\/05\/tree-work\/"},"modified":"2009-03-05T00:17:00","modified_gmt":"2009-03-05T00:17:00","slug":"tree-work","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/?p=430","title":{"rendered":"Tree Work"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>All around Abingdon this winter there has been a lot of tree work done.<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag09\/09030504.jpg\" \/><br \/>This is the reach of the Thames between Abingdon and Radley looking across towards the far bank<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag09\/09030505.jpg\" \/><br \/>where trees have been cut back and piled high &#8211; like here near swift ditch.<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag09\/09030503.jpg\" \/><br \/>These old branches are being carted away from near Radley Lakes to be burnt. A year or so back when the Lake was being prepared for destruction many of the trees were numbered and cut.
