Snow was falling when many of us woke in Abingdon this morning. It settled on roads and pavements.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag26\/2026010604.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nSome shop windows still carry their seasonal snowy displays and for once have been matched by the conditions outside.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag26\/2026010609.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nTown council staff were out gritting paths across the Market Place and in the town council parks.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag26\/2026010608a.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nThey were also busy updating the notice boards with the latest posters.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag26\/2026010607a.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nOne of the events being advertised is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abingdon-drama-club.com\/\"><em>The Snow Queen<\/em><\/a>.
