Today, other contractors were zipping around on lawn mowers, cutting grass at great speed or strimming around tree trunks.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag25\/25043009.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nSome areas are being left for wildflowers, mostly bluebells, dandelions, buttercups and daisies.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag25\/25043026b.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nAlbert Park has enjoyed a lot of warm, sunny weather over the past week \u2014 today reached about 26\u00b0C.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag25\/25043033a.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nRobins, blackbirds, wood pigeons, crows, tits, and magpies are commonly seen in the park, just as they are in nearby gardens. Red kites circle overhead.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag25\/2025053129c.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nI hope to capture some less common birds during the year.
