In between whiles some of them were in the Punch Bowl playing tunes.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag22\/2022112702.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nThe\u00a0 Abingdon Mace Bearer, the Mayor, Town Clerk and Town Council were in the parade.\u00a0The\u00a0 Town\u00a0 Clerk,\u00a0 Mr Nigel Warner, will soon be stepping down after over twenty years in the post. Interviews happened a couple of months ago for a replacement, but I know no more than that.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag22\/2022112705.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nThe Abingdon Lions helped by giving transport to Santa Claus. Before Christmas, they also run the Santa Sleigh around the streets of Abingdon and surrounding villages.
