Looking down John Jones Close, in Abingdon today, there is no Italian support.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag21\/2021071101.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nThe one remaining betting office in the town centre,\u00a0 a couple of estate agents, and a few shops have football displays.\u00a0 EFES barbers have England flags.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag21\/2202107810.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nSue Ryder say &#8216;Good Luck England&#8217;.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag21\/2202107815.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nThe Bookstore also has some England flags. Among the books is &#8216;Injury Time&#8217; by sportswriter Duncan Hamilton. <em>&#8216;He hits the back of the net with his enthralling fiction debut.&#8217;<\/em><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag21\/2202107818.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nThere was a picture on the blog of a crochet-topped post box a couple of weeks ago. It may not have been really about football then. That was my mistake.
