It involves &#8220;<em>a nautical theme featuring porthole windows, wooden cladding and sail cloth used to form a canopy over the entrance. Costing \u00a31.2 million&#8230;&#8221; <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Our leisure centre has colourful flags and a wave-like curve over the entrance.<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag06\/06051602.jpg\" \/><br \/>The White Horse Leisure and Tennis Centre, halfway down Audlett Drive, opened in March 2002, cost \u00a310 million and took two years to build and is now a very good sports facility: it has been judged the best public leisure facility in Oxfordshire for the last two years.<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag06\/06051603.jpg\" \/><br \/>It has:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sportshall<\/li>\n<li>Competition Swimming Pool<\/li>\n<li>Childrens pool<\/li>\n<li>Sauna and Steam Room<\/li>\n<li>Gym (fitness studio)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/photos1.blogger.com\/blogger\/4552\/136\/1600\/leasgym.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer;\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/photos1.blogger.com\/blogger\/4552\/136\/320\/leasgym.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dance studio<\/li>\n<li>Squash courts<\/li>\n<li>Colourful courts for the kids.<\/li>\n<li>Cafe<\/li>\n<li>Waiting area with large screen TVs and view of pool, and art works.<\/li>\n<li>Creche<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was reading a Witney Blog and see Witney are on their way to completing the refurbishment of their Windrush Leisure Centre.
