Every Thursday people are encouraged onto the doorsteps by a member of the Oxford Caledonian Pipe Band with a drum<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/video.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fgeorge.haslam.56%2Fvideos%2F2001023653362708%2F&#038;show_text=0&#038;width=261\" width=\"261\" height=\"476\" style=\"border:none;overflow:hidden\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" allowTransparency=\"true\" allowFullScreen=\"true\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nIn Thesiger Road, George Haslam has been playing the clarinet on Thursdays at 8pm, and on this final week he appeared with a saxophone to play <em>Over the Rainbow<\/em>. <\/p>\n<p>There will be other ways to show our appreciation to carers like making sure they are paid fittingly for their heroic efforts in future.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag20\/20052801.jpg\" alt=\"Last applause\" \/><br \/>\nWe can also find new ways to come together as a community.
