Unasked and unexpectedly, he has rolled up his sleeves and worked like a Trojan to help us clear the Theatre, strike the set and load everything onto Ray Carter&#8217;s lorry for transport back to the Clubhouse.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag20\/20020603.jpg\" alt=\"Move-out Mayor\" \/><br \/>\nWe are all tremendously grateful to him for his generous help. To my knowledge he is the only Mayor ever to have done this &#8211; in spite of the Mayor being our Patron &#8211; and we would like his kindness and generosity to be known around the Town.<\/p>\n<p>Could you give a grateful mention to Ray as well? He helps us with every move-in and move-out, and also deserves recognition!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag20\/20020601.jpg\" alt=\"Move-out Mayor\" \/><br \/>\nThis seems a good place to say that now is the time to get tickets for the Mayor&#8217;s Charity Evening.
