{"id":22,"date":"2010-04-06T23:17:00","date_gmt":"2010-04-06T23:17:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abingdon.blog\/daybyday\/2010\/04\/06\/next-weekend\/"},"modified":"2010-04-06T23:17:00","modified_gmt":"2010-04-06T23:17:00","slug":"next-weekend","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/?p=22","title":{"rendered":"Next Weekend"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/abingdon.blog\/abingdon2007\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/09040501-300x216.jpg\" \/><br \/>Next weekend there will be a lot going on in and around town&#8230;<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/abingdon.blog\/abingdon2007\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/09040505-276x300.jpg\" \/> <\/p>\n<div>There is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abingdonfreewheeling.org.uk\/\">Freewheeling on Sunday<\/a>.<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/abingdon.blog\/abingdon2007\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/09040503-300x205.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div>There is the very well advertised <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20150708201439\/http:\/\/www.abingdoncraftfair.com\/\">Craft Festival <\/a>from 8-11 April.<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/abingdon.blog\/abingdon2007\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/09040504-300x218.jpg\" \/><br \/>Heather Brown, the <span><span>Abingdon<\/span><\/span> Partnership officer, has co-ordinated this with Free Family Fun and Music on the Market Place on Saturday, so that people, on leaving the Craft Fair, will be attracted to venture from the Old Abbey Buildings through the Abbey Gateway into town. <\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Saturday is also one of my favorite events &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20130103055529\/http:\/\/www.abingdon.gov.uk:80\/Core\/AbingdonTC\/Pages\/Clubs_and_Societies_1.aspx\">Clubs and Societies Day <\/a>in the Guildhall, where local clubs and societies show case what they do.
