The roads ground to a standstill, and so the main display was delayed while the cars were directed in. <\/p>\n<p>Children&#8217;s quiet fireworks began the evening.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag18\/18111019.jpg\" alt=\"Abingdon Festival of Fireworks 2018\" \/><br \/>\nThe bonfire was lit. There was a funfair and food kiosks. <\/p>\n<p>There followed a display of fireworks, one by one, where we were educated about the different fireworks. We were like students being taught about music before going to a concert.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag18\/18111031.jpg\" alt=\"Abingdon Festival of Fireworks 2018\" \/><br \/>\nThen the main display came.
