Delicious Abi, who have re-opened in the last week, were giving out samples.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag18\/18100906.jpg\" alt=\"Abingdon Fair\" \/><br \/>\nThe balloons with the fairy lights looked really good but did cost \u00a38.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag18\/18100911.jpg\" alt=\"Abingdon Fair\" \/><br \/>\nLots of stalls were serving doughnuts but a lot of people went to the stall that only did doughnuts. There was quite a queue and you could see them being made as you waited.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag18\/18100913.jpg\" alt=\"Abingdon Fair\" \/><br \/>\nI didn&#8217;t see anybody manage to hang onto the &#8216;Beat the Bar&#8217; for the 2 minutes to win the old style fair challenge. Very entertaining to watch when the crowd got behind the competitor.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag18\/18101003.jpg\" alt=\"Abingdon Fair\" \/><br \/>\nAt the Ock Street end of the fair the Mission Space ride stood out again. It is a high swing chair roundabout with colourful lighting.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag18\/18101005.jpg\" alt=\"Abingdon Fair\" \/><br \/>\nAt the High Street end was the helter skelter.<\/p>\n<p>Here is a five minute video showing how long you get on the Bodycount and Meterorite rides &#8230;<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"264\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/5f8yIpSty-A?rel=0&amp;showinfo=0\" width=\"470\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nIt is goodbye from the big fair for another year.<\/p>\n<p>The duck, crocodile and giraffe could be there again next week.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag18\/18101007.jpg\" alt=\"Abingdon Fair\" \/><br \/>\nThe runaway fair will be back next Monday with mainly children&#8217;s rides.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There were more locals&nbsp; than ever outside their businesses during the fair.
