There were also a number of other vans and stalls serving hot food, and &#8230;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag18\/18081812.jpg\" alt=\"Oxfordshire Chilli Festival\" \/><br \/>\nfor the first time, in Abingdon, rolled ice cream &#8211; a fine anti-dote to chilli.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag18\/18081809.jpg\" alt=\"Oxfordshire Chilli Festival\" \/><br \/>\nThere was some good live music,<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag18\/18081808.jpg\" alt=\"Oxfordshire Chilli Festival\" \/><br \/>\nand, to help you enjoy the music, cider from Somerset.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag18\/18081806.jpg\" alt=\"Oxfordshire Chilli Festival\" \/><br \/>\nThen towards the end of the festival a very exciting chilli eating contest. Contestants were not allowed to drink, and were supplied with hotter and hotter chillis until the eight contestants<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag18\/18081803.jpg\" alt=\"Oxfordshire Chilli Festival\" \/><br \/>\nwere reduced to two. The guy who had been so cool throughout, eating the chillis faster than anybody else, decided to leave, leaving it to the two ladies.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag18\/18081801.jpg\" alt=\"Oxfordshire Chilli Festival\" \/><br \/>\nLast year&#8217;s winner, Shaheena was back against the pain again. Last year she was up against Anthony, who had to drop out in fourth place this year.
