The weather forecast had predicted snow but I never expect snow to really happen.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag17\/17121006.jpg\" alt=\"Snowy Sunday\" \/><br \/>\nHere is Belsky&#8217;s mother and child in the snow. Elsewhere there were lots of real parents out with their children, playing snowballs and with sledges.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag17\/17121016.jpg\" alt=\"Snowy Sunday\" \/><br \/>\nThe paths and roads got very slippery  as the snow continued to fall. Cars and even buses could not always get traction. Walking sticks and ski sticks looked very sensible.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag17\/17121017.jpg\" alt=\"Snowy Sunday\" \/><br \/>\nThe world had turned black and white with just a few touches of colour.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag17\/17121012.jpg\" alt=\"Snowy Sunday\" \/><br \/>\nAt Trinity, there were less people than usual. Geoff Caudle from Drayton led the service. He did well to get there.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag17\/17121018.jpg\" alt=\"Snowy Sunday\" \/><br \/>\nAfter church I began to see  snowmen. There were two next to Abingdon Baptist Church.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag17\/17121020.jpg\" alt=\"Snowy Sunday\" \/><br \/>\nDown in the Abbey Meadows somebody had sculpted a mermaid from the snow.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag17\/17121021.jpg\" alt=\"Snowy Sunday\" \/><br \/>\nOn another bench sat a snowman.<\/p>\n<p>The snow stopped for the first time at 2 pm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It was snowing at 7am.
