There is no planning application yet for a change or use. But Sue saw workmen there today &#8230;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag15\/15111801.jpg\" alt=\"During the Guildhall Closure\" \/><br \/>\nSue says,  &#8220;While walking the dog this morning I noticed some activity in the car park of the Upper Reaches. One bloke was using one of those big hammer machines that rams down into the ground.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-DNg3hqc8yUY\/VkzaqB1EPEI\/AAAAAAAAYCc\/udGGYm-cXO0\/s1600\/15111802.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" ><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-DNg3hqc8yUY\/VkzaqB1EPEI\/AAAAAAAAYCc\/udGGYm-cXO0\/s1600\/15111802.jpg\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThere were other workmen on the other side of the carpark, and others wandering around nearer the building. What is happening? Does anyone know?<\/p>\n<p>I have heard a rumor that it may be turned into more housing? I think this would be a real shame.
