{"id":13956,"date":"2015-05-04T00:29:52","date_gmt":"2015-05-03T23:29:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/?p=13956"},"modified":"2015-05-04T00:29:52","modified_gmt":"2015-05-03T23:29:52","slug":"abingdon-air-and-country-show-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/?p=13956","title":{"rendered":"Abingdon Air and Country Show 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The weather did not look good for the Abingdon Air and Country Show at Dalton Barracks.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag15\/15050314.jpg\" alt=\"Abingdon Air and Country Show\" \/><br \/>\nBut by the time the flying started, soon after 1pm, the rain had cleared and there was some blue sky.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag15\/15050312.jpg\" alt=\"Abingdon Air and Country Show\" \/><br \/>\nNot all the flights had been able to get there because of the conditions, but there was still lots to enjoy in the early afternoon.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag15\/15050308.jpg\" alt=\"Abingdon Air and Country Show\" \/><br \/>\nAfter the first flights, there was a shower, and people settled back again to watch the planes and a parachute display team.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag15\/15050307.jpg\" alt=\"Abingdon Air and Country Show\" \/><br \/>\nAs well as the airshow there were many interesting exhibits of the type you see at a Country Fair.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag15\/15050309.jpg\" alt=\"Abingdon Air and Country Show\" \/><br \/>\nMembers of the local Nepalese community were collecting for their home country &#8211; devastated by an earthquake.<\/p>\n<p>At around 3pm the rain set in again.
