The plan would remove land from the Green Belt between Oxford and &#8230; Abingdon and neighbouring villages such as Cumnor, Kennington and Radley.<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-ugUMay_V7AQ\/VGpopFVr3LI\/AAAAAAAATZQ\/c_AFo0sHTMs\/s1600\/14111702.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-ugUMay_V7AQ\/VGpopFVr3LI\/AAAAAAAATZQ\/c_AFo0sHTMs\/s1600\/14111702.jpg\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThe draft plan will be submitted to the Secretary of State for independent examination, and local people have received a leaflet, called &#8216;<b>The Future of the Vale<\/b>&#8216;. asking for  comments about whether the plan is appropriate, achievable and in line with the government\u2019s policies on planning.<\/p>\n<p>You can read how to enter your <a href=\"http:\/\/www.whitehorsedc.gov.uk\/services-and-advice\/planning-and-building\/planning-policy\/new-local-plan-2031\">comments here<\/a> &#8211; until 19th December 2014.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-aC14pyPmuUc\/VGpowS9iUYI\/AAAAAAAATZY\/yI-5eTQx6EY\/s1600\/14111705.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-aC14pyPmuUc\/VGpowS9iUYI\/AAAAAAAATZY\/yI-5eTQx6EY\/s1600\/14111705.jpg\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nI suppose that if the plan is seen to be inappropriate, unachievable, or out of line with central government\u2019s policy on planning, then the   wild-west world of predatory developers &#8211; that has become such a feature of the coalition government &#8211; will continue.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 15th October the VWHDC (Vale of White Horse District Council) Council voted through the draft local plan until 2031.
