Mist floated over the water of the River Thames, below Abingdon Bridge.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag14\/14050302.jpg\" alt=\"Saturday\" \/><br \/>\nOn the Market Place the 10th Abingdon (St Helen&#8217;s) Scout Group had a table top sale.<\/p>\n<p>Last weekend the district scouts held a St George&#8217;s Day parade at the European School in Culham. Gone are the days when there is a parade in Abingdon every year since the merger of Abingdon District and Didcot District in April 2012.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abingdonblog.co.uk\/imag14\/14050303.jpg\" alt=\"Saturday\" \/><br \/>\nThere were two buskers on the Bury Street Shopping Centre, one playing the lute, and the other the flute.<\/p>\n<p>As the day progressed people looked up to the skies at the roar of aircraft arriving, or practising for the 2014 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abingdonairandcountry.co.uk\/\">Abingdon Air and Country Show<\/a>.
