Snow Frollics

Thats more like it. Real snow! (see Tuesday when we had a disappointingly small amount of snow compared to the rest of the South East)

Thanks to Sarah for this picture and the one of Queen Victoria above.

Thanks to Hester for sending me this squirrel.

Thanks to Michael for the snowman and snowdog on the Market Place

I met this young family who were off to see if Nursery was still on.

Looks like a whole lot a frolicking going on. I never saw snowmen with evergreens on them, those are really cool.

I've never seen a snowman having a sit down either! :-)

Has the wooden monk on the roundabout by B&Q been dressed up for the snow does anyone know? I last saw him in his Halloween outfit!

The wooden monk was last seen in the Anchor Inn, muttering 'b****r that, for a game of cowboys...'

the novelty is wearing off- i was due to visit friends in birmingham today but due to doubts over buses and trains i had to call it off.
went outside to make another snow mutant ( not an artistic type) and within a few minutes my gloves were soaked through and i lost all feeling in my fingers - which led to much hilarity as i tried to get the keys back in the front door.
i almost wish i didn't have the week off - i'm feeling like a prisoner
