The October 1st theme for the City Daily Photo is movement. You can see other bloggers’ posts here.
I took a couple of pictures from in front of St Nicolas Church. The first shows the blur of a moving cyclist with the County Hall behind.
The second, taken a couple of hours later, shows the blur of a moving car with the County Hall behind.
Nikolaus Pevsner said of the building: “Of the free-standing town halls of England with open ground floors this is the grandest“.
Like ghost shadows.
Great shot.
that cyclist must have been going fast
always fascinated by moving vehicles
Good to see the AbITS system working so well after all!
Two great examples of movement.
Abits certainly wasn’t working at around 5.30 to day – town was completely gridlocked. Good pictures though.
Quite ghostly!
Great photos! You’ve made a great Theme Day post. I’m glad you picked these to share with us.
Oh well done, two super shots for the theme..
