I hope that there is a rainbow at the end for the poor devils at Tata steelworks. Please can someone explain to me as I really do not know. Our government is prevented from subsedising our steelworks by an E U Directive but Germany can and do subsidise their steel production. Why has the Uk got to stand by directives when other countries take no notice?
