Yesterday seemed to be a day of rest for the workers repaving the High Street.
Today the workers, from Drayton Construction, were back at work, probably making up for what has been a difficult January.

Yesterday seemed to be a day of rest for the workers repaving the High Street.

The High sreet really needs a spruce-up; hopefully with better lighting - the place looks so dingy at night. We might have wished for darker-coloured slabs; chewing gum is amenace as seen below; The makers should add a levy to pay for the mess the stuff has made of our towns!
