I noticed this yesterday - the most comfortable shoes I own , a pair of Kickers, came from Lady McBeth (is this a shoehorn I see before me?)
Does anyone know why they are going - is it personal reasons (retirement?) or is even Lady M not immune to the economic downturn? The doom-mongers will be sure that it is the latter so if it isn't it would be good to know.
What's done is done.

My dear wife has bought shoes from Lady M in the past as well as a long shoe horn as a gift for me! She will be missed.
