More Water

As the River Thames overspills its banks...

Things look quite different.

This coot swims across a footpath we normally walk along.

The red sign at Abingdon Lock warns 'Caution Strong Steam'. An aeroplane is coming over very low.

There are two boats moored on the reach between Abingdon Bridge and Abingdon Lock: Marnie II is still OK...

but B&B on Thames, Abingdon (aka Norah g) is in trouble.

Just been for a walk down to the river. B&B is drawing a few spectators...

Oh dear - that is terrible to see the B&B in trouble there. I am rather fond of it - I hope the owner is OK.

I often walked passed Norah to work when she was moored on Wilsham Rd.

What a shame to see her in this state. I hope she is salvagable and, as Bones says, that her owner is ok.
