Harley Davidsons on the Market

About twenty Harley Davidson bikes were on the Market Place this morning.

All shining in the sun.
Abingdon is probably England's oldest town. Abingdon is seven miles downstream from Oxford on the River Thames. 'This Abingdon' is a daily record of events and places in Abingdon.

woohoo! Hogs!
We make them in Wisconsin, about 15 miles north of here. This summer they are having another Harley owners reunion, with Bruce Springsteen as the concert headliner. There is one day when they all come to town at the same time, and you can hear the roar of engines for miles. Its deafening to stand near them. One year they closed the freeway for a couple of hours to everyone but the riders. They come from all over the country, and when they see all the spectators waving, they do things like
riding standing on the seats. It's wonderful to see.
