Local Roots

Not far from Patisserie Pascal a new shop at the top of East St Helen Street, called Local Roots, has just opened. All products come from a 30 mile radius of the shop. Chris and Sukey, the owners, say "We very much believe in promoting an ecological approach to retail, with much of our produce sourced from organic farms and smallholdings, and an emphasis on fair trade and minimal environmental impact."
