Beyond Southern Town park, there is the sewage treatment works, and allotments, and there are short trails that lead into bushes and brambles but then become impassible.
So fruit like this doesn't always get picked

Oddly enough I cannot remember a year quite like this one for fruit growing wild on roadsides and in parks. Apple trees especially seem to be proliferating.
